Jakravee Visutipol (Jack)
My career began in one of the most challenging environments I could imagine—running an insurance company during the 2011 Thailand Floods. It was a crash course in resilience and adaptability, teaching me how to make tough decisions under pressure. I learned a lot from that time, whether it was negotiating claims with customers and reinsurers or setting up efficient processes and workflows. But the real lessons came from my failures, like managing budgets and driving change effectively. Those experiences shaped me, and since then, high-pressure situations have become where I thrive.
From there, I stepped into the world of public service, working with two Ministers of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand to promote digital inclusivity and drive investments in Thailand’s growing tech ecosystem. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I worked closely with health workers and social services to support distressed families in Bangkok’s Suanluang Prawet District—a humbling experience that reminded me of the power of community.
Today, I focus on investing in people, ideas, and dreams. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than empowering others by giving them the tools and support they need to succeed. I’m always on the lookout for new challenges, opportunities, and experiences that push me to grow while making a meaningful impact.
