Jakravee Visutipol (Jack, จักรวี วิสุทธิผล) is a Bangkok-based investor and property developer. He leads a commercial real-estate practice that repositions under-used office buildings for a new generation of tenants, and invests in early-stage ventures and technology. A former insurance executive and a veteran of Thailand’s digital-economy ministry, he lectures in applied actuarial and financial methods at Mahidol University, serves on the board of Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn School, and works as a community advocate in the Suan Luang–Prawet district of Bangkok, where he lives.
My story
Into the deep end
My career began in one of the most demanding environments imaginable: helping run an insurance company during the 2011 Thailand floods, when much of the country was underwater and every day brought a new impossible decision. I negotiated claims with customers and reinsurers, built processes where none existed, and more valuably … failed at things. Budgets I misjudged. Change I pushed too fast. Those failures taught me more than the wins, and they’re why high-pressure situations became the place I do my best work.
Public service
From insurance I moved into public service, working with two Ministers of Digital Economy and Society to promote digital inclusion and attract investment into Thailand’s growing tech ecosystem. When COVID-19 reached Bangkok, I worked alongside health volunteers and social services in the Suan Luang–Prawet district, my home, helping distressed families access support. It was the most humbling chapter of my career, and it permanently changed how I think about what community means.
What I do today
Today my work has three threads. I lead a property development practice that takes under-used commercial buildings in Bangkok and repositions them for a new generation of tenants. I invest in ventures, in technology, and most of all in people whose ideas deserve a real chance. And I continue to serve Suan Luang–Prawet as a bridge between residents and district government, because the district that raised me shouldn’t have to shout to be heard.
Alongside these, I lecture in applied actuarial and financial methods at Mahidol University and serve on the board of Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn School — because financial literacy is the most portable gift I know.
Nothing is more fulfilling to me than giving people the tools and backing they need to succeed. I’m always looking for the next challenge that pushes me to grow while making a meaningful impact.

What I believe

เริ่มต้นกลางวิกฤต
เส้นทางอาชีพของผมเริ่มต้นในสภาพแวดล้อมที่ท้าทายที่สุดเท่าที่จะนึกออก — ช่วยบริหารบริษัทประกันภัยในช่วงมหาอุทกภัยปี 2554 ผมเจรจาสินไหมกับลูกค้าและบริษัทรับประกันภัยต่อ วางระบบงานจากศูนย์ และที่สำคัญกว่านั้นคือได้ “ล้มเหลว” ในหลายเรื่อง บทเรียนจากความล้มเหลวเหล่านั้นทำให้สถานการณ์กดดันสูงกลายเป็นพื้นที่ที่ผมทำงานได้ดีที่สุด
งานภาครัฐ
จากธุรกิจประกันภัย ผมก้าวเข้าสู่งานภาครัฐ ร่วมงานกับรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคมสองท่าน เพื่อผลักดันการเข้าถึงดิจิทัลและดึงดูดการลงทุนสู่ระบบนิเวศเทคโนโลยีของไทย เมื่อโควิด-19 มาถึงกรุงเทพฯ ผมทำงานเคียงข้างอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขและงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ในเขตสวนหลวง–ประเวศ บ้านของผมเอง ช่วยเหลือครอบครัวที่เดือดร้อนให้เข้าถึงความช่วยเหลือ
วันนี้
ปัจจุบันงานของผมมีสามด้าน: พัฒนาอสังหาริมทรัพย์โดยปรับโฉมอาคารพาณิชย์ที่ยังใช้ประโยชน์ไม่เต็มที่ในกรุงเทพฯ, ลงทุนในธุรกิจ เทคโนโลยี และที่สำคัญที่สุดคือ “คน” ที่ไอเดียของเขาสมควรได้รับโอกาสจริง ๆ, และทำหน้าที่เป็นสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างชาวสวนหลวง–ประเวศกับสำนักงานเขต เพราะย่านที่เลี้ยงผมมาไม่ควรต้องตะโกนเพื่อให้ใครได้ยิน นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นอาจารย์พิเศษด้านคณิตศาสตร์ประกันภัยและการเงินที่มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และกรรมการสถานศึกษาโรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษาพัฒนาการ
สิ่งที่ผมเชื่อ
ตัวเลขมาก่อนเรื่องเล่า เจตนาดีอยู่ไม่รอดถ้างบประมาณพัง ลงทุนในคน ไอเดียหาได้ทั่วไป แต่คนที่แบกไอเดียคือทุกสิ่ง หัวใจอยู่ที่บ้าน เป้าหมายระดับโลก แต่สองเท้ายังอยู่สวนหลวง–ประเวศ
